Chabil Mar means 'beautiful sea' in Kekchi Mayan and each of the villas is fronted on the sea or around a pool. The villas are situated within landscaped grounds that attract hummingbirds and lizards.
Rooms are in spacious one or two bedroomed luxury villas that are individually decorated and have fully equipped kitchens, air-conditioning, free wireless internet, DVD player and washer dryer. Villas can accommodate up to 4 or 6 people making them an ideal choice for families or groups.
Dining at Chabil Mar is a butler service which allows you to order breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks anywhere on the grounds, including on your private veranda, poolside, beach or at the end of the pier whilst spotting dolphins or rays. Menu includes a wide selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Onsite facilities include the use of two beautiful infinity pools, a private sandy beach and pier, complimentary use of bicycles, canoes and BBQ area. Evening shuttle is available to the village from resort.

Our comment: We like the fact that Chabil Mar Villas is so close to the laid-back town of Placencia with its restaurants, bars and shops. It is a short stroll along the beach into town or 15 mins along the main road.
