Five star experience. Belize is an excellent holiday destination for us. A great blend of wetland, mountain rainforest, amazing snorkelling, adventure, wildlife and culture. Thanks to Giacomo for putting together a brilliant holiday for us. It entirely exceeded our expectations and the whole family had a wonderful time. We loved all the locations, particularly that they were so well run by local friendly and knowledgeable people. All transfers were seamless and details notes much appreciated.
Lamanai Outpost Lodge was absolutely fabulous, the family room worked really well. The meals were fantastic. All the tours we did there were excellent including the spotlight night river safari, sunrise canoeing on the lagoon, the guided tour of Lamanai Mayan Ruins and the sunset cocktail cruise.
Xanadu was a lovely place to stay, clean and comfortable. We did a snorkel trip to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley where there was some incredible snorkelling with a variety of marine life. It was fun swimming with the nurse sharks although was a bit touristy. We also went on a manatee watch and it was fantastic to see one. We rented a golf cart and had fun exploring the island.
Black Rock Lodge accommodation was superb and beautifully blended into the landscape. The lodge is very well run and we enjoyed tubing down the river. We did the ATM Cave trip which was amazing and a must if you stay in the Cayo. Xunantunich ruins was a fascinating visit and we had an enjoyable canoe trip along the Macal River with our guide Ruben.
We loved the basic but clean and comfortable rooms at Tobacco Caye with amazing verandas overlooking the water. We enjoyed the meals and snorkelling.
Speedy, competitively priced itinerary produced upon request that was adapted to all our specific requirements. Correspondence was always timely and considered with good attention to detail and our family holiday to Belize was a tremendous success with all the locations exceeding expectation and transfers working seamlessly. Thank you to Giacomo and the team.
Nikki, Simon, Oliver and Isabel - July 2024A first rate company who were incredibly knowledgeable about Belize so were able to tailor our tour to exactly what we wanted to get out of an adventure holiday. Communication with Karen was excellent and documents provided before we left were really detailed and helpful. If you are thinking of going to Belize, use this company - they are the experts.
Vicky, David, Olivia, Evie and Daniel - July 2024As others say, fab experience in Belize. Naturally Belize (Nicola) were a joy to work with - listening to our comments and questions and matching the holiday perfectly. Wonderful food, super friendly people and great sights. End the trip in Ray Caye - you won't be disappointed.
Mark and Josephine - May 2024We had an amazing holiday and loved all your recommendations.
Henrietta and Richard - May 2024Thank you for organising an amazing trip! We have been recommending Belize to family and friends as the people are so friendly and there is so much to do. Lamanai Outpost Lodge exceeded our expectations, it was truly wonderful. We would recommend the Jungle Night Walk, Mayan Ruins, Sunset Cocktail Cruise, Spotlight Safari, Dawn Birdwalk and Jungle Medicine and village tour.
Xanadu lived up to our expectations. We have a very spacious suite. We did a snorkel trip to Hol Chan Marine Reserve, hired a golf cart and took a water taxi over to Caye Caulker. We would recommend all these trips.
Terry and Tracey - March 2024We found Belize surpassed our expectations. Having previously visited Costa Rica we expected it to be similar. The Belizean people are very friendly, always smiling & helpful. Still keen to share their country with visitors. The country is stunning, beautiful landscapes, mountains, waterways & coast with the bonus of spectacular Mayan ruins. It’s a bird watchers paradise.
Karen and Trevor - Feb 2024Just back - it was amazing! All the arrangements worked perfectly and we had a wonderful time.
Jill and Ron - Feb 2024We really enjoyed our time in Guatemala and Belize. We met lots of wonderful people who went out of their way to make our experiences special. We particularly enjoyed the variety that our itinerary gave us, just the sort of holiday for us. We have come back with hundreds of photos and wonderful memories. Thank you Karen for putting it all together for us.
John and Carolyn - Feb 2024Hi Karen A fantastic holiday very well organised where everything went to plan with no hiccups. Thank you very much. Excellent service, accommodation, adventurous activities all with pleasant knowledgeable and professional guides and drivers. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the scheduled activities. Snorkelling was fantastic, swimming with Rays, sharks and huge turtles – never to be forgotten. The wildlife night-walks, and early morning bird walks were fascinating, as were our several visits to Mayan ruins with expert guides to explain everything we were seeing. The Cave trip was pure adventure as was the 90 minute fast boat ride up to Lamanai, spotting bird life turtles and crocs on the way. Also loved the 14 seater Flights to the and from the coast.. A holiday of a lifetime for us.
Luke, Isobel, Carlotta and Isaac - July 2023I would recommend Naturally Belize as a tour operator. Everything was as described, well organised and planned. An amazing holiday with the perfect balance of adventure, nature and relaxation.
Deborah - May 2023We thoroughly recommend Belize as a destination. We enjoyed the varied landscape and the blend of culture, nature and adventure which can be found in such a small country. We found the people incredibly friendly, service levels high, and the blend of different cultures which influence the country really interesting. The trip which Naturally Belize put together for us was a fantastic combination and we particularly appreciated that everything was arranged for us once we arrived in Belize and worked like clockwork."
Claire, Paul, Edwin and Seren, April 2023
In a world where nothing works how refreshing to find something that does!
Naturally Belize took us to Cancun, via Gatwick, and then onto a three centre experience in Belize that
was pure magic. Every choice of hotel, there were five, was chosen exactly as we would have chosen
ourselves. Every resort was perfect, wonderfully friendly staff and booked us the most amazing
excursions and experiences.
Every detail, every transfer was planned and executed perfectly and our group originated
from Washington, Auckland and London!
We all met up in the Forests of Lamanai as planned and enjoyed a wonderful holiday."
Thank you so much for organising such a perfect trip. Everything went like clockwork with no issues at all. The choice of accommodation was perfect. The Black rock lodge was amazing. The only thing that let us down was the wind at San Pedro. We only managed to do 4 out of 5 days scuba diving and the blue hole trip was cancelled. We also had a deep sea fishing trip cancelled all due to the wind. We were a bit gutted about this but obviously, this was out of anyone's control. We still managed to have 4 great days of scuba diving and a had a great time at Ramon's Village. One of the windy days, when our scuba diving was cancelled, we hired a golf cart and drove to Secret Beach. As this was over the other this side of the island the water was crystal clear, calm and beautiful. The wind was not so strong. Would definitely recommend. We didn't want to leave. We both have a bad case of the holiday blues at the moment. All in all, we had the best of time and would highly recommend it."
Oliver and Dannielle, March 2023It ticked all our interests. We have no hesitation in recommending Belize. Never a dull moment. Not suitable for fly and flop fans. Still thinking of Black Rock Lodge and it’s beautiful setting. The detailed itinerary was exemplary, put together in such a way as to be informative and leaving few, if any questions that needed further investigation. The service provided by Naturally Belize was friendly and always very helpful. The trip was fantastic, and a great introduction to Belize was experienced by the 28 mile speedboat ride to the first jungle lodge. All accommodations were superb with the staff being most attentive. All in all, a holiday was had with many different experiences including nature walks, visits to Mayan sites, snorkelling and river tubing. I cannot praise all involved at Lamanai Outpost Lodge, Belizean Nirvana at Placencia and Black Rock Lodge highly enough. Add to which it was very good value and hats off to Naturally Belize!”
Paul and Wendy, February 2023
A truly wonderful holiday, thank you again. I will be recommending Belize as a holiday destination. We loved Costa Rica, but felt there was more to see and do in Belize, due to the rivers, barrier reef and Mayan temples (no sloths though ☹).
Absolutely loved Belize and hope to return some day. Wildlife and scenary is stunning and the people are exceptional.. kind and helpful. The diving and snorkelling was beautiful too. Tikal, Xunantanich, canoeing were fab. Would rate Chaa Creek 10 out off 10 and Ray Caye 9 out of 10."
We have just completed our holiday and would like to say thank you for organising our itinerary with such clock work precision. We were both delighted and will recommend you to our friends and family."
Richard and Jacqui, Jan 2023"For us the trip was perfect. An absolute seamless experience so well put together by yourselves. We loved all the quick transfers with Tropic Air and they really mean you can get around. We did the Tikal trip from Black Rock Lodge and it was seamless in comfortable air condition vehicles with great staff, drivers and guides. 5 nights at Ramons was great. I honestly don’t think we would change one thing. Thank you for a wonderful trip and we would most definitely recommend Naturally Belize."
James and Emily, Jan 2023
It has been a while since we got back from our wonderful holiday in Belize. First of all we would like to thank you for your exceptional service. You listened to all our requests and responded brilliantly.
Lamanai Lodge was superb; we have travelled widely across all continents and I have never had such delicious gluten free options for every meal. All the staff were exceptional, especially Karen who always went that extra mile; equally every guide we met was accommodating, flexible and extremely knowledgeable. The accommodation was excellent, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The setting and excursions on offer are simply amazing; the resident Howler Monkeys added a memorable additional attraction, as did the Keel Billed Toucans.
Xanadu Beach Resort was a completely different but equally excellent experience. Our apartment was again spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Pieter the owner/manager was extremely welcoming and attentive, as were all his staff."
We wanted to go to Belize for a honeymoon but were unsure where to start with planning, logistics and accommodation. My wife phoned Naturally Belize and they could not have been more helpful. Taking time to discuss exactly what we wanted we were presented with a number of itineraries and options for us to choose the right one. Slight amendments were quickly dealt with and the whole holiday with multi centre transfers and locations was stress free and memorable. Thank you Naturally Belize."
Andrea and Neil, November 2022
We have just returned from Belize and have had the most amazing time. All the arrangements you sorted for us on our itinerary went without a hitch. Everyone was really helpful and so informative. Although we only had just under two weeks holiday, we feel we got a real sense of Belize, combined with a fantastic experience on the overnight stay in Guatemala to visit Tikal, and finishing off with the relaxed vibes of Caye Caulker.
Highlights were the pitch darkness and sounds and sights around Pook’s Hill; ATM cave; Tikal (especially at sunrise); Antelope Falls walk, swim and rappelling; Hol Chan marine reserve (eagle ray, green turtle, manatees and so much more)….and the very helpful and friendly Belizean people."
I have recommended Belize to anyone who will listen since returning. It is a fantastic destination which I think offers so much to families wanting to mix culture, adventure and relaxation.
Great accommodation throughout - a lovely mix of places which gave us a great opportunity to see Belize without staying in anything too “chainy”. We particularly loved Lamanai Outpost Lodge, where the accommodation was spacious, spotless and staff went above and beyond to give us a great experience. Particular thanks to Eduardo, our guide during our stay, who was knowledgeable and ensured we made the most of our stay.
We took a variety of tours whilst at Lamanai and Pooks Hill organised by the hotel. The Lamanai tours were exceptional - really great guide, well organised and a good mix of information and fun had by all (including teenagers). The Pooks Hill guide was also really good - unfortunately we had a lot of rain so were unable to visit the ATM caves. They took us to the zoo instead, then organised a croque match once the rain cleared which was fab!
Really lovely food throughout. All accommodation provided great options for our pescatarian daughter and fresh, nutritious food options throughout. The food was plentiful - if anything a bit too much :)"
Naturally Belize…What a trip of a lifetime Nicola and Karen put together for our family of 5. They created an amazing bespoke itinerary packed full of adventure and activities for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys.
They are hugely knowledgeable about Belize, so we had great confidence in the tplanning of the trip that it covered all of the highlights that we wanted to see and do.
The organisation of plane trips, boat journeys and road trips was absolutely seamless, the accommodation was perfect from jungle lodges to beachside hotels and exciting activities. All of the owners and local guides at lodges also spoke very fondly of Naturally Belize.
Do not hesitate in booking a trip to this beautiful diverse country with Nicola and Karen…it is ‘ unbeleezable’how incredible a trip they will create for you."
Booked a brilliant 2 week holiday in Belize with the team at Naturally Belize.
They listened well to what we were looking for and then came up with recommended itineraries, which we then talked through to get to the perfect plan.
Stayed at Lamanai Outpost Lodge which was superb. Comfortable accommodation, outstanding freshly prepared food and our own personal guide for 3 days of trips around Mayan ruins, freshwater lake, jungle and more. Peaceful and serene, a lovely start with the hour or so each way by speedboat adding to the adventure.
Moved on to Caves Branch Lodge, where the action really cranked up!! Tubing through underground caves, climbing a waterfall system entirely in one cave system, and a 350foot 'Black Hole' abseil. Plus horse riding. Great adventures, outstanding safe and knowledgeable guides. Food ok, but romantic candlelit white tablecloth lunches deep underground in the caves were a highlight each day.
One note on accommodation, which is fantastic, the site is VERY steep so ask for a lower level room if concerned.
Final destination near San Pedro, Great location and amazing staff. Lovely 10 minute walk into town centre along beach. Went for the Scuba diving and it was brilliant. Great guides, really well organised and spectacular fish, sharks, rays and even Manatee. Just so special.
Flew in/out of Belize via New York, and well worth 3 days stopover beforehand to see city highlights. Karen and Naturally Belize sorted everything.
Highly recommend them and a Belize adventure that works for all ages.
It’s such wonderful place, full of beautiful places and kind people. Thank you.
Jeremy and Marine - April 2022We had a fantastic time in Belize in February, organised by Naturally Belize. With Covid making finalising plans difficult, Naturally Belize were really accommodating & assisted with some late changes to our itinerary. Originally they had offered several itineraries for us to choose from & different accommodation options. The accommodation was excellent throughout and everything ran very smoothly once in Belize
Marc and Kim - Feb 2022Karen created us the most perfect trip to Belize! Everything went like clockwork with all the transfers and flights. The hotels were all first class and we loved everything about it. We saw and did so much but nothing was rushed and we certainly plan to return in a couple of year's time. Belize is an amazing destination and not crowded or over developed. Thank you so much for your amazing organisation - we really appreciated it.
Linda and Max - Jan 2022We would highly recommend a trip to Belize. We loved the variety of the landscape, the wildlife, the lodges as well as the really friendly and passionate people. It felt like there was something for everyone at each individual lodge and we only really scratched the surface. The whole trip felt like an adventure including getting around the country. Obviously a flight from Maya Flats to San Pedro would have been the ideal but timings did not allow and we loved our couple of hours at Belize Municipal airport.
We’d just like to say another massive thank you to you for the whole trip - everything was immaculately organised and your support throughout (including antibiotics) was hugely appreciated. We had the trip of a life time and it will live long in the memory.
Tom and Toni - November 2021
Accommodation was excellent and matched well with on-line descriptions.
Our visit to Lamanai ruins from the lodge was wonderful.. Not just for the Mayan history but our very
delightful and knowledgable guide Brenda was amazingly good at spotting the array of wildlife surrounding us
and making sure that we saw it as well. Her use of my phone to take photos through her scope means that we have
some terrific photos and videos as momentos.
Monkey river tour from Chabil Mar. Excellent. Nice lunch in Monkey river village.
Snorkel trip to Hol Chan marine reserve. Thoroughly recommend. Lucky enough to see a loggerhead turtle.
Hired a golf cart to take a trip up the Caye and then to visit secret beach. Superb.
For a small country it offers such a varied choice of locations and activities as to suit a wide range of people.
We had the most wonderful first trip to Belize. Karen from Naturally Belize arranged the perfect accommodation for us and everything went so smoothly. Belize is a fantastic country and we fully recommend Naturally Belize whose expertise really helped us plan the perfect holiday.
Dan and Tracey - January 2020We had a great holiday. Your logistics planning worked out perfectly with good connections made at each stage.
Lamanai Lodge was all we expected but I would say that 3 days is enough to cover the activities so the fourth day is really for those who want to relax. Although rooms are not at the level of Chaa Creek the intimate atmosphere that the staff create is a big bonus.
Chaa Creek is pitched very differently, much in the style of an international hotel. Much less personal but more comfortable.
Belize is a great country with a Caribbean flavour but more gentle people than we have met in some of the more well known countries - we would definitely go again.
Paddy and Susan - January 2020It was amazing! We have fallen in love with both Belize and Guatemala and cannot speak too highly of the itinerary you planned for us. The tours you arranged were excellent with amazing guides. I would like to send an especial thank you to our guide in Antigua who really went beyond what she needed to do and was so knowledgeable.
I have been singing the praises of Naturally Belize to anyone who will listen! I am a great believer in trying to seek out the small specialist companies who hopefully have the local knowledge but of course it can feel like a bit of a gamble if you don't know anyone who has travelled with the company but my faith was completely justified and I cannot thank you enough for a holiday which has left us with some incredible memories. I will be back in 2-3 years to ask you to plan us a holiday to north Belize and Yucatan.
Amanda and Jonathan - December 2019
We absolutely love, love, loved our trip to Belize!!!! Thank you so much Karen
for arranging this special trip for us. It was one of the best trips we have ever had. I would certainly
recommend this trip to anyone – we had an absolutely amazing time – saw so many things and had
so many different experiences in 3 different places that it was like having 3 holidays.
Stayed at Lamanai, Black Rock Lodge and Victoria House.
First of all THANK YOU for your extremely personal attention and recommendations, having the chat with you about my mother's mobility issues and our preferred type of holiday meant that your recommendations were spot on, we definitely would not have been able to make these bookings without your insider knowledge.
Lamanai Outpost Lodge was an amazing place, and thank you for suggesting it at the beginning of the itinerary, this was ideal. The included guided tours were fantastic and the guides themselves the key to their success. We had Ruben, and he brought so much more to the tours (having grown up in the village and around the Mayan ruins). All the guides were super knowledgeable about the wildlife which was so interesting. Four nights was perfect as it means we had 8 tours includes, which was all the ones we wanted to do (we did the night safari twice because it was so good). Accommodation was excellent, far better than the description. Every tour was different because you just don't know what animals will come out, so I don't think you could ever be tired of this place. Added bonus, being so close to the Lamanai ruins, Ruben knew when the cruise ship trips were coming in, and showed us round extra early so we had the whole site to ourselves, amazing.
Pelicans Pouch was a dream come true, a real desert island and we were the only people on it (apart from the excellent staff esp Terri and Kevin). Herons Hideaway was perfect for us, with the sea breeze meaning we didn't need fans or aircon and didn't get bitten. The snorkelling was great, and the team bent over backwards to ensure my mother got out to see the reef.
Mailan and Maisie - December 2019We had a lovely time. Everywhere was great. Loved all the accommodation. The Belize people were so friendly Mayan air were great. Very scenic flights. Would thoroughly recommend. Both places were wonderful. Chaa Creek was lovely. The tree top Villa was great. Hearing the howler monkeys was special . All the staff gave a wonderful service. We didn't think it could be followed but Victoria House was also lovely with incredibly helpful staff.
Helen and Roger - November 2019I would recommend Belize very highly; it is beautiful and easy to get around; we were tracking howler monkeys in the morning and snorkelling on the reef by 4:30pm on the same day. The transfers all worked like clockwork, the people are welcoming, friendly and great fun and the infrastructure better than we thought.
Lovely accommodation in both Lamanai Outpost Jungle Lodge and Victoria House. Thoroughly enjoyed the great value tour package at Lamanai Outpost; highlight for me was the spotlight night boat safari but they were all great with fantastic guide George. We went on three snorkelling excursions in Ambergris Caye, the third being a private charter with Wild Adventures of Belize Limited where we snorkelled with manatees which was an absolutely incredible and moving experience.
Thank you so much, Karen, for all your help. I would highly recommend Belize and Naturally Belize as a travel company. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a fantastic time.
Maxine and Paul - November 2019Thank you so much for the most amazing holiday. When I spoke to you about our hopes we hit the jackpot. We travel a bit and know when someone listens to your idea of the perfect holiday. You guys are masters of your art in every respect. You are also a pleasure to deal with I am really hoping to send so many friends your way to share this fantastic experience. Please thank the team. The holiday couldn’t have been better. Adrenalin stuff , diving, and places we stayed.
Simon, Samantha and Hannah - August 2019Highly recommend – a hidden gem and would definitely recommend. All in all we had an amazing holiday - thank you for your recommendations and guidance. The inclusive tours at all resorts totally blew our minds. The information, knowledge, opportunities for us all were much appreciated. Scuba School and Family Dive Center in San Pedro were excellent – all kids obtained there Open Water Certification. They collected us and dropped us back daily from Xanadu. Small groups for diving, v patient and safe.
The John Family - July 2019
We absolutely loved the holiday, and especially appreciate how well arranged everything was. Every transfer
worked perfectly with no delays or problems, all the lodges and activities lived up to or exceeded expectations. Would like to especially thank you
for how quickly and efficiently you rearranged the internal flights at short notice when we realised that after 7 days of non-stop activity, we just
wanted to get to the pool in Xanadu and relax.
All your recommendations were spot on, and it is the first time I can remember coming back from a holiday like this without thinking
that there were things I would do differently if I was doing it again – I honestly can’t think of anything I would want to change.
Would definitely recommend Belize (in fact we already have). The mixture of wildlife, adventure and history was
perfect (with a bias towards the adventure to keep the children active and entertained). We had never really considered it before as we had always
thought of it as a destination only for diving, but there is so much to do and so many interesting aspects, it was absolutely perfect for us.
In addition to the country itself, all the people we met, and particularly the staff at the lodges and the guides, were exceptionally friendly
and welcoming.
Simon, Abigail, Ella and Thomas - July 2019
Overall a great holiday, Belize is a beautiful country with lovely people, I would definitely recommend it as a holiday destination. Thank you for all your help, the detailed itinerary was extremely helpful. All of our accommodation, flights and transfers were excellent. We could not have asked for more, I don’t think we have ever received such friendly, genuine, helpful service in any other country we have visited. Not just from hotel staff but everyone we met during our stay.
Sandra and Richard - July 2019I would definitely recommend Belize the 2 centre trip was perfect and provided a good insight to the country. We also tagged on 2 days in Miami which was good to break up the journey back. Thanks for organising and your recommendations.
Jo and Nicholas - April 2019Great accommodation. Great food. Lots to do. Very impressed with Naturally Belize - in particular the speed at which all emails were answered every time I had a query. Fantastic destination. Definitely worth doing jungle and coast. Lots to do but plenty of down time also as we were often up early for activities. Highly recommend it.
Marie and Tom - April 2019Pelican Pouch and Xanadu were a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. Beautiful surroundings. Very relaxing. Pelican Pouch can be described as paradise. Belize is a beautiful holiday destination with a huge variety of wildlife. We loved the casualness of life, an airstrip in the town centre just like a bus station. The amazing wildlife right there in front of you. It was a well organised amazing trip and we loved every moment. Thank you for arranging it.
Wendy and Mark - April 2019
Thank you so much for the amazing trip you organised for our family. You created an adventure for us which was utterly
amazing and extraordinary. Each place we went to seemed to be better than the last, with a superb balance over the two weeks which gave us a bit of
everything.
The itinerary flowed perfectly. Lamanai was the perfect start, even down to the 5am starts which were ideal for the jet lag. It was also good to
have organised activities for those days. Pelican Pouch was the perfect end. The jungle/sea balance worked beautifully.
The holiday started with an incredible high. The boat trip in to Lamanai completely set the scene. We loved our three nights there, and were busy
from before dawn to after dusk finding all kinds of animals. Dawn canoeing? Night time spotlight safari? Crocodile hunting? Touring the nearby village?
Having the Lamanai ruins all to ourselves? Swimming in the lake? Amazing. We all said that even if we had had to go home after just Lamanai we would
have had a great holiday.
Black rock was again different. We were slightly more independent there, which was great. We climbed a mountain, and found some waterfalls by ourselves.
We went horseriding and caving to the astounding Crystal Cave. And spent many hours jumping in off the rope swing. We even caught an ocelot on a motion
sensing camera.
Placencia was fun, and a welcome bit of people life after the wonderful seclusion of the jungle. The Nirvana was amazing: we were expecting a standard
B&B, not a palatial suite! The ice creams were lovely... We went snorkelling at Silk Caye, with the sharks, turtles, and rays, and kayaking as a
family one beautiful morning.
The trip was brilliant. All accommodation was fantastic. All the staff at both resorts were very friendly and
helpful. Food at Lamanai was amazing...so much of it, and good quality with staff very happy to accommodate alternatives.
Xanadu, we enjoyed trying local eateries, particularly the places where the locals eat. Hotel staff were happy to advise.
Guides at Lamanai, so knowledgable, and seemed genuinely keen to show local wildlife etc. All the trips at Lamanai brilliant, can’t fault it,
a truly memorable experience.
Really enjoyed the diverse cultural mix among the locals.
A great trip, with good transport links, and an excellent service provided by yourself....Thank you!
Lamanai must be on top of the list for anyone visiting Belize for the first time, just a great experience.
Those who like diving, snorkling etc could not find a better experience than Pelican Pouch.....just paradise ! We walked up the beach when on La
Placentica to the hotel that was full when the holiday was planned. We were so pleased that it had been as staying at Nirvana in the village yet
on the beach gave us much more of a Belize experience.
Belize is really a top destination if one wants heat, sun, clear warm seas, diving,
snorkling, wildlife and of course a people who speak English and are welcoming and charming and helpful.
The 17-night itinerary organised by Karen was a perfect introduction to the small yet remarkably diverse country of Belize. From rainforest to reef and back again we enjoyed two delightful and very different rainforest lodges, a luxury beach resort in Placencia and the Caribbean vibe of Key Caulker where the motto is 'Go Slow'.
Hiking at Black Rock Lodge, caving at Actun Tunichil Muknal (home to a Mayan sacrificial site), and dawn canoeing at Lamanai were among the many highlights. A great place to visit and a holiday to remember - thanks largely to the expertise and excellent service provided by Naturally Belize.
Beatrix - November 2018Belize is wonderful and exceeded our expectations – perfect mix of activity whilst moving around followed by rest and relaxation on the islands. Would recommend to couples and families alike. Thank you so much for organising a holiday of a lifetime for us – we have and will continue to recommend you to our friends. The holiday was superbly organised and perfectly tailored to our needs. Thank you so much. Our top 3 hotels were Meson du Maria, Black Rock Lodge and Xanadu.
Siobhan and John - December 2018Just to say, we have had a wonderful holiday in Belize!! Thank-you so much for your superb organisation. Everything worked so well, especially our travelling arrangements. We all thoroughly enjoyed our exciting trips to various places from Pooks Hill and wouldn't hesitate to ask you to help with our travel in the future. With best wishes.
Catherine, David and Juliet Oakley - July 2018One absolutely fantastic holiday followed by a hectic return. Thank you so much for everything you did to make it such a wonderful experience. Everything went like clockwork with absolutely no issues. All staff and locations were wonderful, and they spoke highly of you. A couple of minor observations. When we travelled out we had an over night stay at Dallas. I assumed we would need to pick up our suitcases as we were leaving the airport. But we didn't, so were lacking a few things. It wasn't an issue, but worth letting others know. San pedro is obviously expanding, so there was a lot of building going on. It wasn't an issue to us, but something to be aware of.
Kevan, Jean, Jodie, Adam - July 2018All the accommodation was very good. The Xanadu apartment was very well fitted out with three ensuites and a well appointed kitchen. An attractive site too.
Tours were good, particularly the ones in Lamanai. I liked the idea of two inclusive activities a day as it encourages you to do things.
Again a good mix of wildlife seen - lots of snakes. Evening sunset cruise was particularly entertaining. All the boat activities were easy to get on and off for people not particularly happy with boats. Staff all very helpful and English as a first language makes everything easier.
Slight downside was San Pedro town is not very attractive. Also beaches not great but we knew that. Perfectly fine for what we did but no good for a long beach holiday.
Only negatives were canoe trip at Black Rock ended up being a guide paddled one - we were expecting to do it ourselves. If you want that you need to book kayaks. I did raise it afterwards and they agreed to review their staff advice to customers when booking and literature ( and gave us a discount).
One thing I must mention is the VIP zoo trip. One of the best things I've ever done! Fantastic! Could do with more than two hours though and Sharon would have been happy to spend longer.
All in all a very well planned trip. Interesting places, modes of transport (boat to Lamanai) and light aircraft trip. A very good mix. Many thanks indeed and please thank Karen for us. All the best.
Ian, Melanie and family - July 2018The holiday was absolutely great. It all worked so well and we all had a fantastic time. There was something for all of us including all the family. They really enjoyed it. Thanks for all your sorting out of the places to stay and activities. Sarah and I would love to go back again one day and maybe visit one of the outlying islands/Cays.
James, Sarah and family - June 2018We’ve had the most amazing experience in Belize – it really lived up to all my expectations. We don’t usually visit the same country twice, but have talked about going back again! Weather was perfect until the last day when there were thunder storms which caused issues with our flights – Nothing anyone can do to change that though.
Thanks so much for helping us organise such an amazing itinerary. The hotels and excursions that you suggested were great for us. We saw pretty much all the wildlife that we wanted, which is what we went for. A few too many biting bugs though! I would recommend taking your insect repellent seriously! I would (and have already) recommended Belize and this company to friends who have asked.
Sian and Neil - May 2018We are back from a super holiday in Belize. Thanks for your organising skills. All the transfers went like clockwork and our 3 resorts were absolutely lovely. They were all very different from each other and the staff at each one could not have been more polite, helpful and happy.
John and Margery - April 2018We had a fabulous time in Belize. Your recommendations for the hotels were absolutely spot-on. Each hotel was outstanding but all were quite different from each other. Chan Chich was low key and intimate; Chaa Creek was more commercial with a bigger variety of activities whilst Victoria House was perfect to finish off. We were upgraded at Chaa Creek to the Tree Top suites and our room was used by Prince Harry on his visit to Belize!! The staff were always very welcoming and so friendly.
Virginia and Richard - April 2018We had a fantastic holiday. All 3 hotels were wonderful, although very different. The food was wonderful at all 3 locations, although more expensive then we were expecting.
Banyan Bay was beautiful and the staff friendly. We loved breakfast and dinner on the decking next to the restaurant. The attached dive shop were really helpful. We did Mexico rocks and the day sail to Shark alley and Cauker Caye, but the absolute highlight was the private boat charter with fishing, lunch and snorkling as we went to a pristine part of the reef. We hired a golf cart and went to Secret Beach which was great fun. We also ate out in San Pedro, which was very atmospheric.
Chaa Creek was an absolute highlight. We did everything available and loved it all. The guides were very knowledgable and friendly. We saw loads of wildlife and learnt about the Mayan culture and medicines. Horse riding was a great hit as was the guided night walk and spider hunt!
Chabil Mar was the perfect place to rest and relax. We loved the bungalow service and dinner on the pier. The swimming was better here because we could swim off the pier, but the water was not so clean. We had a wonderful time.
Sarah, Robert and family - March 2018Belize was incredible, thanks. Here's some feedback.
To take the four places we stayed in turn:
Lamanai: Lamanai is an incredible place. The accommodation was ideal for a family with youngish children - two bunkbeds separated from our own (enormous) bed
by a not-quite ceiling-height partition thing. Our guide (Abdul) was incredible, but the only other guide we had much to do with (Eduardo) was also great,
staff at reception and in the kitchen were ace and the food was amazing. Free cold water in the fridge in our room, and always available in the restaurant
(as well as juice) added to a sense of generosity. We were asked to choose what activities we wanted to do, and told our guide just to take us on all the
good ones. He filled our itinerary with the things that are offered for free, not even suggesting the trips you have to pay for. We'd have liked to have done
the crocodile-tagging trip (which costs extra), but I really appreciate not being aggressively sold stuff and at least not having done that gives us a reason
to go back. Overall, it's a great first stop - not only reasonably close to the airport, but getting there via speedboat really blows those aeroplane cobwebs
away. We stayed here for three nights and at Black Rock for four, but we'd happily have swapped them around. If there was a pool it would be perfect (we did
swim in the lagoon, but only before we saw the crocodiles; they say the crocodiles have never hurt anyone, which may very well be true, but I certainly wouldn't
want to be in the water when one swims past feeling peckish).
Black Rock: We really enjoyed some of the walks straight from Black Rock, and swimming in the river with howler monkeys swinging and screeching in the
jungle on the opposite flank. It was good for birds - there were toucanettes nesting on site, toucans nesting on the other side of the valley, and beyond
that loads of other cool things flapping about. Staff were on the ball and friendly. But for all that, it didn't quite feel as special as Lamanai had.
Hatchet Caye: An amazing place. Staying on the reef, going for pre-breakfast snorkels, was fabulous. Watching rays swim past at night through the
ultra-violet lights at the end of the pier was magical. Food was good and plentiful. The cabana was a bit crowded with four of us in it, but it was OK.
Everything there (drinks at the bar etc) is a bit more expensive than on the mainland, and extra trips arranged through their dive shop are also expensive
(US$67 per person to go snorkelling to Silk Caye, not much less than it costs from Placencia even though you're almost there already), but really you
don't have to go anywhere. For snorkellers, it's so much better to stay here than in Placencia, and it really feels like a ludicrously idyllic Caribbean
paradise. I'd strongly recommend it to anyone who can afford it.
We didn't spend any time in cities, and were largely driven around in a touristy bubble, but our experience was fantastic. I loved how undeveloped even major tourist attractions were, lacking expensive gift shops and all other forms of cynical profiteering, and allowing a sense of discovery even on well-trodden paths. I found staff everywhere unusually friendly and accommodating. I also found Belize more culturally and ethnically varied and interesting that I expected it to be – I had been unaware of the large Mennonite communities, and how traditional Mayan villages remain.
We had a fantastic trip, which started and ended in the best places any of us have ever stayed. We have and will recommended it and you enthusiastically to everyone we meet."
Simon, Rachel and family - March 2018
Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful trip! You did such an amazing job! We loved the places you sent us
to and saw lots of wonderful animals and sites, exactly what we wanted. We met lots of people travelling with Naturally Belize and they were all very happy!
Keep up the good work and let me know where else you organise trips too, we'll be coming back!
Annie and Mark - January 2018
We got back from Belize yesterday safe and sound. I must thank you for a wonderful holiday-best ever! What a place-lovely people, good food and I never felt unsafe once. We had a ball! Each destination was fabulous. I achieved an item on my bucket list-to swim with turtles! The sharks and rays were an add on extra! I relive each moment. We loved the golf carts in San Pedro and went to Secret beach. Chaa Creek was stunning and the birds fantastic. I saw a tarantula on the night walk! Guatemala was amazing. The drive down to Placencia was great and all the guides and staff everywhere very informative. The location of Nirvana was fab, when we eventually found it and the town and bars great fun! We did Monkey river seeing crocs and manatees etc. I was in my element. If there was a negative it was passing through Atlanta-3hrs standing in a queue for border control! Coming back was bearable -only 1hr.! Overall though all flights on time and helpful folk everywhere. Weather was good too. Many many thanks for a dream holiday.
Jane and Douglas - January 2018
Hi Karen, I wanted to say a huge thank you for arranging such a fantastic holiday for us! We really did love every minute
and it was the perfect mix of adventure, wildlife and relaxation. Chaa Creek was beautiful and made us feel very special. The food was fantastic (my son tried
15 new foods alongside the comforting familiars on the children’s menu), the activities and guides were brilliant. We took advantage of almost everything on
offer including 2 horse rides, canoeing into San Ignacio, Xunantunich and the night walk. It was really nice to have all our food and most of the activities
included in our package. This made a big difference to me personally.
We were really impressed with our villa at Chabil Mar. Our “Partial Sea View” was even better than expected and the children loved the pier and the
pools. We took 2 trips with Splash (Laughing Bird Caye and Silk Cayes) which were both amazing. The guides were brilliant and swimming with the nurse sharks,
turtles and stingrays was truly unforgettable. All our transfers worked seamlessly and the drivers were mines of information about Belize. The flight on the
propeller plane was in equal parts terrifying and thrilling for me! American immigration was the only issue we encountered on our trip. It took us over 1.5
hours to get though on our arrival in Atlanta. Our body clocks told us it was about 1am and we were all exhausted. The system was confusing and the queuing
system penalised us for being non-US, a family and first time entrants to the US on our ESTAs putting us in the slowest queue with just 1 server. An official
finally took pity on us and took us out of the static queue. We were also really lucky on our flight out of Atlanta. We took off just 3 hours before the whole
airport closed down for 6 hours with a powercut! I will be recommending Belize (and Naturally Belize!) to everyone I know. Thank you so much.
Accommodation at Chaa Creek and Victoria House was perfect and to very high standards. A bit cold in Belize itself as there is no heating in the bungalow but other than that very comfortable and roomy. We did a lot of guided tours in Chaa Creek and the guides made the experience very special due to their knowledge and obvious passion for their subject matter. All the diving and snorkeling trips from Victoria house also first class. . Not as cheap though as one might have expected due to the fact that it is a less travelled destination.
Olivier and Anne - December 2017Another lovely holiday in Belize! Lamanai was gorgeous and Brenda our guide was superb! The boys even had a morning on the ringos, set up by the owner. We were spoilt and loved the crocodile encounter although sadly didn’t catch one but the ride was thrilling! Food delicious! Boys loved jumping in the lagoon! Pelican was equally fab and the snorkelling and fishing was great! Very relaxing and boys had a ball! We did leave the island the night before as sea very choppy but all catered for and went well! Thanks for organising and definitely up for another trip there although would fly via Toronto saving time and visas. The inaugural flight landed whilst we were in the airport!
Heather, Benjamin, Frank and Joseph - December 2017We were pleasantly surprised by how friendly Belizeans were, and what a great destination the country is, so don’t understand why so few English people know about it as a holiday destination. We would certainly recommend it after such a lovely holiday there, a nd would return again (especially if flight timings from the UK avoided an overnight US stop). Perhaps, some of Belize’s charm comes from the fact that the country isn’t overrun by tourists! Based on our experience in Placencia (here only breakfast was included), did we find the cost of living unexpectedly high for a Central American country compared to others. We enjoyed the trip to ATM, and were looked after well by the guides, with comfortable transport to/from the venue. Similarly, our trip to Xuanantunich Mayan Ruins was good, particularly having our own private guide throughout the morning. Generally, all the guides we had at both lodges were enthusiastic and enjoyed their jobs. We went scuba diving on Christmas Day with Splash and conveniently located across the road from Chabil Mar – we were happy with that experience too.
Kate and Stephen - December 2017We had a great time. Thanks for your company's input. We'll definitely recommend Naturally Belize. Friendly, interesting destination. We felt safe at all times. Wide variety of activities. Pity about the value of £ to $! We chose this holiday for snorkelling and nature. Your recommendations were spot on.
Eileen and Lesley - August 2017We had an amazing time in Belize and it didnt seem as third world as i thought it was , the place was amazing and the people were so lovely and friendly . Going out of season worked to our advantage .. and it didnt rain that much ... Lamani upgraded us to rooms over looking the river i can only assume because they were quiet . Howler monkeys decided to visit what a treat .. Visit to the local village great , not staged like in Africa and we learnt to cook mayan style... The place was fantastic we definitley recommend staying at Lamani .. Food lovely, just way too much just like america .. Pooks Hill .. it was okay , room was nice , just wasnt keen on everyone having to dine at the same time , Bocawina Resort another amazing place and we got upgraded here also to a suite it was lovely .. The restaurant on site lovely food .. cocktails weren't bad either !!!.
Would definitley recommend visiting Belize , hardly saw any europeans where we stayed all americans / canadians .. Thank you very much for organizing this for us .. It will be a holiday we will always remember and we will go back at some point , as they were still lots we didnt see or do ...
Angela and Jackie - July 2017Brilliant holiday destination, especially with our 13 year old daughter. History, culture and art to keep mum interested, new part of the world, snorkelling and different cultures for husband and all of the activities for daughter. Couldn’t have picked a better holiday for us this summer.
Jane, Luke and Olivia - July 2017We wanted to experience both a rainforest and coastal holiday and we got the best of both, as well as culture and history. It’s a wonderful, friendly, welcoming and really interesting country which we would highly recommend to anyone! All the guides, particularly at Black Rock Lodge were superb and so friendly and their knowledge was second to none and really enthusiastic. Our honeymoon was awesome and planned perfectly by you guys at Naturally Belize! Thank you!
Tom and Samantha - May 2017We would definitely recommend Belize as a holiday destination. Just wish we had more time there to explore other parts of the mainland. At Lamanai we were allocated our own ‘guide’ when we arrived and he accompanied us on all 6 trips during our stay. He was very good and had excellent knowledge of the local wildlife, plant life and Mayan Ruins. We also went on a half day snorkelling excursion to Hol Chan Marine Reserve. The guide was very good and it was a great snorkelling experience. Both Lamanai and Xanadu accommodation exceeded our expectations. The staff at Xanadu were excellent, couldn’t do enough for us while we were there.”
Jo and Richard - April 2017We had a great time and the itinerary you put together was fantastic, a great mix, including a bit of luxury right at the end. Highlights were undoubtedly the ATM Cave and an Eagle Ray at Glovers Reef, but we enjoyed it all. Thank you for your amazing organisation of our trip. Everything worked like clockwork. People at every stage were so friendly and helpful. Vicky at Pook’s Hill is great.”
Andy and Ruth - March 2017It was a really fabulous holiday! We would definitely recommend it at a destination. It’s an attractive country, plenty of variety (we loved the combination of jungle/Mayan ruins and then the beach) and still relatively unspoilt. Also fabulous snorkelling and delicious food i.e. lots of fresh fish, fruit and vegetables . And the Belizean people are so nice! In the hotels, on the tours and even the restaurants and shops they were so friendly and helpful. All the accommodation was excellent. Very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Very impressive settings and garden/beaches. Yet pleasantly relaxed and easy going. We thought the variety between the three locations (Lamanai Outpost, Chabil Mar and Matachica) was perfect.”
Karen and Richard - February 2017Thank you – you laid on a superbly varied and excellently organised itinerary for us. We love to be active and there was the perfect volume of different things to keep us interested. Every single transfer went exactly on time and as planned, allowing us to savour every moment of a special two weeks we will never forget. Lamanai Outpost and Black Rock Lodge were truly special locations. It was amazing to get away from the big smoke and into the wilderness albeit in serious comfort with no lack of facilities. Likewise Belizean Nirvana was immaculate, just metres from the sea. Xanadu was also very good. Would definitely recommend it; we loved the variety between the experiences from the wilderness in the jungle to the laid-back relaxed seaside venues – a far cry from the bustling, over-crowded European beaches. It was heaven on earth.
From Lamanai we did the night-time river safari, medicine walk, sunrise kayaking, sunset cruise, Lamanai ruins, visiting local village for cooking demo, bird-walk – Brenda, our guide, was so knowledgeable and we saw so many different animals and birds species.
San Pedro – snorkelling at Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley was great, got up close and personal with sharks and rays as well as a large volume of fish.
Black Rock we did a night-time nature walk; kayaking, ATM Caves and summit hike. The ATM Caves was a unique experience with a memorable guide (Manuel) whose dry delivery and humour were a highlight to light up a fascinating underground tour. Again, very knowledgeable guides throughout, especially when just idleing away hours in the main restaurant area, watching birds at the feeders.
Placencia – organised a snorkelling trip by ourselves to Laughing Bird Caye – incredible! Didn’t organise a tour with the hotel but did use their kayaks for a jaunt around into the mangroves!
Stephen and Nicola - January 2017The holiday was amazing - it surpassed our expectations. We were very impressed with the package you put together for us and the service and support you offered. There were no nasty surprises just lovely ones. I would highly recommend you!
Sarah and Andrew - January 2017We would recommend Belize and even more so Black Rock Lodge. Black Rock Lodge wasn’t just any break it was extremely special. I think it was a good call to do the active part of the holiday first then the relaxing part second. Even with Ambergris Caye being so special we missed Black Rock Lodge. The rooms at Victoria House were immaculate and pleasing to come back to after a day out and about. Going around on golf carts was so much fun and gave us the freedom to explore San Pedro. It was excellent! The roads further afield are not as good but went venturing and took us to some stunning places like Secret Beach (where we spent the entire day) and Rojo Beach Bar and Lounge. It is a unique experience which we will remember for many many years. Belize is wonderful and we really enjoyed the cultural and people. You’ve done very well indeed! We had a fab time.
Michael and Tharene - December 2016We are just back from our amazing trip that you organised for us to Miami and Belize and just wanted to let you know how smoothly the whole trip went. Your organisation of all the various parts to the trip were absolutely spot on and the hotels that you chose for us suited us perfectly . The Tides was in just the right position as we only had one night there but were able to get out and about very easily. The arrival by boat to the Lodge was very "James Bondish"!!
Our guide Levi at Lamanai was fantastic and so helpful and full of knowledge -the Lodge was incredible and all the staff charming. It was quite an experience and all the activities we went on with Levi were fantastic and on the last morning we had time to make a trip to the Mennonite community which was fascinating especially being driven around the community by Mr Cornelius even having a snack made by his wife at their house.
Victoria House was the perfect place for us to relax and again the staff were charming and we hired a golf buggy in order to discover the rest of the island. All in all it was a fabulous trip which went without any hitches, organised beautifully by yourselves and we will certainly recommend you to people.
Linda and Nigel - December 2016We had an amazing holiday in Belize. The itinerary you put together was a perfect blend of everything and we enjoyed it very much. So a huge thanks to you for organising our holiday and making it so easy to travel from place to place and for suggesting excursions all of which were good quality. All the tours were very good. The guides at Blackrock and Hidden Valley were exceptional, very amiable, great communicators and highly knowledgeable. The snorkelling tour was also very good but mainly due to the amazing location rather than the guides, they did not seem to be as knowledgeable or didn't impart their knowledge as well as the other guides.
Belize is a great holiday destination especially if you like an active holiday and appreciate wild flora and fauna. There's a wide range of tours and a great variety of destinations to choose from. We would definitely recommend it.
Margaret and Andrew - December 2016
We had an absolute amazing time!!!! Words cannot explain how brilliant it was. Once again thank you
very much for helping us. Everything was spot on; accommodation, food, people etc I got to live my dream of swimming with turtles.
Charlotte and James - November 2016
We would thoroughly recommend Lamanai Outpost Lodge in all respects. Great way to experience the jungle without being overly arduous or challenging. Fantastic range of excursions included with the holiday. We are all still buzzing with excitement about this part of our trip. We are also very pleased with all your expert help, advice and arrangements from Naturally Belize and won't hesitate to recommend you to our friends and families. Thank you!"
Jill and Tony - August 2016Better than we could have imagined! We loved having the opportunity to see both the jungle and beach parts of Belize too as they were like 2 different worlds. The jungle lodges were authentic and close to nature and the beach hotels were relaxing and luxurious.
We did loads. Pooks - Canoeing, Xunantunich, The Zoo. Victoria House - Snorkelling. Lamanai - Spotlight Safari, Sunset Cocktail Cruise, Sunrise Canoeing, Nature Walk. Almond Beach - Zip-lining & Waterfall rapelling. All tours were great and very different, which is good as we were looking for variety. If I had to pick I would say zip-lining was my favourite but it's a tough choice. We also had a couples massage on our last day at Almond Beach which was lovely! The locals are all so friendly (big shock to miserable Brits like us who aren't used to that!) and everyone and everything is so relaxed that you just can't help feeling relaxed yourself! Thank you Naturally Belize for making our honeymoon so fabulous and memorable!!"
Sarah and Michael - August 2016We were delighted with all the bookings you made for us, particularly Lamanai and Hatchet Caye- they were both excellent, 5* accommodation! We thought it was the best and will definitely return! Everyone we met was friendly, helpful and charming. We would give it the highest recommendation- and urge the Belizean people to keep conservation near the top of their agendas- it's a wonderful country.
First, we thought that NB provided an excellent service during our planning and booking for the trip. Second, we were in the Cayo District when Hurricane Earl made landfall, and were very grateful for the excellent service and support provided by NB. You quickly found us alternative accommodation when ours wasn't available for a few days, and couldn't have been more supportive and helpful throughout- many thanks!"
Fiona, Richard, Ben, Eliza, Hugo and Olivia - July 2016Naturally Belize put together a number of itineraries which exactly matched our initial request and fine tuned the final itinerary to our requirements. The detailed itinerary and local information given to us prior to our departure was excellent and every detail was pre-arranged including the tours and everything went smoothly. Ka'ana Boutique was exceptional, it exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself was beautiful, the food excellent, but it was the management and staff who we shall remember for many years to come, they were friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure our holiday experience was amazing. They really went 'over and above'. All tours were excellent and the Ka'ana tour guides were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable."
Jayne and Keith - June 2016Mark and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Belize. It was our first time in this country and it far exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was perfect for our needs and I liked the fact that we went to Lamanai first. From the moment we stepped off the plane the people could not do enough for us. All the transfers were on time and the boat trip along the river to Lamanai was a great start to the holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed all the activities provided in the hotel package. We sat at the top of the temple, listening to the howler monkeys at dawn, seeing the mist over the tree tops and watching the sun rise over the river. This memory will stay with us forever. There was a bit of a delay from Placencia to Hatchet Caye but this turned out to be a bonus as we were taken to the beach resort of Placencia for lunch and here Mark and I experienced the laid back feel of Belize which prepared us for the relaxed atmosphere of Hatchet Caye. The accommodation on Hatchet Caye was lovely and the uninterrupted view from the duplex was fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and all the staff were very friendly. We spent time snorkelling and went on a couple of boat trips, the first to try and see a whale shark and the second to swim with turtles, nurse sharks and rays. Unfortunately we didn't get to see a whale shark but that didn't deter from the trip as it was a brand new experience snorkelling in the deep sea as opposed to coral and reef beds. All in all we had a terrific holiday and would like to thank you personally for planning it for us. Mark and I would definitely recommend your travel company and Belize to family and friends.
Deborah and Mark - May 2016Well, we are back from the most fantastic holiday we have ever had! Everything worked incredibly smoothly on the trip - all transfers were perfect, all locations amazing. We really couldn't fault a thing. Thank you for putting together the itinerary for us - it was absolutely perfect and completely met our requirements.
Sam and Family - April 2016Thanks for organising what was a trip to remember - we had the best time - everything went very smoothly and all our accommodation was super. Your suggestions were spot on and Black Rock lodge in particular stood out as somewhere we would have spent an extra few days at if we'd had them. Best trip - the night spotlight safari at Lamanai with our guide Ruben who was brilliant. So atmospheric, with a clear night so we had the stars above and all the wildlife around us. Thank you for a well organised and very happy trip - what a great country with so much to see and do and very friendly welcome everywhere."
Sascha and Family - March 2016We were expecting it to be good but it exceeded our expectations - the people are friendly and welcoming, environmental issues are clearly important to most of the population. We felt that we achieved a good balance of the things we wanted - the jungle wildlife, luxury beach chilling and the hippy vibe/beach life at Placencia. We would definitely recommend it. Overall though a fantastic holiday and your advice and organisation was much appreciated.
John and Brenda - Feb 2016Belize is an excellent holiday destination, as one can easily combine the rain forest with the marine life off the coral cayes. Took many tours, found they were all small groups, with very knowledgeable guides. Would most definitely recommend it and Naturally Belize.
Leslie and Cynthia - Feb 2016Thanks for arranging the holiday. We had a great time and loved Belize! The accommodations at the Lamanai Outpost Lodge and at Matachica lived up to our expectations. We enjoyed them both: stunning locations and helpful and friendly staff. From Lamanai we visited the Mayan ruins, kayaked at sunrise kayak, did the cocktail cruise, jungle dawn nature walk. We couldn't do the night walk because there was a storm that evening. The guides (Levy and Brenda) were excellent. Had some great bird sightings. From Matachica we snorkelled Hol Chan and shark ray alley: well-organised, excellent guides. Loved it. We also kayaked out to the reef by the hotel and borrowed bikes to cycle into San Pedro. We definitely recommend Belize as a holiday destination; it's a beautiful country. It's not spoilt by tourism and has such interesting history, cultures and amazing wildlife. Thank you for the first class service provided by Naturally Belize, we will definitely recommend you!
Laura and Michael - Feb 2016
Thank you so much for your organisation of our recent Belize trip. You were recommended to us by our daughter and son in law who booked their honeymoon with you in 2013.
You were so patient and helpful, and provided so many options every time we came up with another idea. All three resorts we stayed in were delightful in their own different ways, from the " rustic " feel of Lamanai, then successively more luxurious as we went to Hamanasi via Chaa Creek. All the travel arrangements you made went without a single hitch.
Belize has so much to offer, wildlife, history, beaches, diving, we would most definitely recommend it.
Brian and Patricia - Feb 2016
Wow. Just Wow. What a country! The people, the food, the locations, the flora and fauna. And it's eco! A country that really seems to care for it's environment and the other creatures that live in it. We could learn a lot from them. Can't thank you enough for all your help and arranging. We would highly recommend Lamanai, Bocawina Rainforest Resort, Belizean Nirvana and Pelican Pouch. Would go back to each of the places in a heart beat!
Daisy and Jack - Jan 2016Naturally Belize, means naturally brilliant. Short and sweet but says everything.
Sue, Jim & Wills - Jan 2016We had a truly amazing time in Belize. Thank you for all your work getting us out there given the relatively short notice. Chaa Creek and Matachica were both brilliant in their different ways, what was common between them was how genuine all of the staff were and how they truly did seem to want to ensure we had a great holiday. The guides at Chaa Creek were excellent, we did a raft of things while there, and they were very passionate about nature, the environment and their homeland and clearly clued up on the subject in hand (be it Xunantunich, bird watching, their horses etc). We are very sad to be back and left wanting more, which is a great thing.
Edward and Katharine - Dec 2015
We had a super time in Belize! Pook's Hill was gorgeous. The setting, guides, food and gin all super!
We tubed and swam most evenings in the river, bird watched every morning with before breakfast and enjoyed all trips. We absolutely
adored the ATM cave, had an amazing guide! We shall remember this day forever as very special indeed. (Well recommended)! We visited
the ruins at Xunantanich, which were so impressive and the boys particularly loved the ferry and howler monkeys. Same day Pook's Hill
treated us to lunch at local restaurant "Benny's" and we all ate Pibil washed down with Belikin, with our guide who was so interesting
and brilliant - we were expecting a packed lunch! Pook's is very special and a real gem!
En route to Hatchet we swam in the Blue Hole sink hole and saw many sights on the Hummingbird Highway. Hatchet Caye again
was so relaxing and a very special place. Staff were first class as was food, snorkelling, sailing and accommodation. We couldn't believe
how reasonable for such a private and exclusive resort! We would definitely recommend not only these two fabulous places but Belize
as a super destination to all our friends as it was truly magical and so unspoilt. We were so well looked after and really couldn't
say anything negative at all. Your details were very thorough and everything ran like clock work, first class! - thank you! Belize was
one of the best destinations and experiences we've had!
What a fantastic destination. Something for everyone. People lovely. Felt Safe. Food good. Well put together itinerary. Karen listened to what we like to do and really hit the mark with what was organised. Great information pack to take with us. Very happy!
Lavinia and Family - July 2015Young James and I had the trip of a lifetime! It was all wonderful, if I had to pick a favourite leg of our adventure it would be the jungle and Hatchet caye. Truly truly magical places with the nicest people on resort to look after us. Top marks to you and everyone involved. We will most certainly see Hatchet Caye again one day.
James and Family - August 2015Really really recommend Belize, beautiful, lovely people and we felt really safe and looked after for the whole trip. It was the best holiday I think we've ever had! Thank you sooo much for organizing it."
Kali and Family - June 2015Belize has loads of variety to offer in a small country, English spoken widely which removes some of the angst. We only met friendly, helpful people. Accommodation at Caves Branch was not super luxury in an absolute sense but top class for a jungle lodge. From Caves Branch we went on a jungle walk, river tubing trip, tour of Mayan Ruin and a birdwatching tour. All were of the highest quality. Hatchet Caye was very special - made us feel like millionaires.
Eileen and Bruce - June 2015Belize was truly delightful and the two centre holiday a real joy. We chose to stay at Chaa Creek and Matachica and felt it was excellent value for money. All tours were very good, small groups, informed guides with a strong safety culture. I would thoroughly recommend Belize, the two centres and your company. It was first class, a treasured memory."
Robert and Helen - May 2015We had a lovely holiday and with your help, we got the balance of destinations just right. Lamanai was a great place to stay in the jungle with the mix of Mayan ruins and nature. One highlight for us was the boat trip to get to the lodge. A fantastic start to the holiday. We were lucky that for most of the activities we were the only people and had Brenda, a very knowledgeable guide, to ourselves. We loved the night walk, the ruins and the spotlight safari on the boat. Food here was good. I very soon learnt to ask for small portions as I just could not manage the amount of food we were given. Hatchet Caye was a good choice for a few days on a quiet island. Dave enjoyed diving from here and I went on a snorkelling trip. We were lucky to see nurse sharks, sting rays and turtles. Quite an adventure! The staff at all three resorts were very good but at Hamanasi they seemed to go the extra mile. Everybody was friendly and knew our names within a day. The treehouse accommodation was fantastic. We would certainly recommend Naturally Belize. A first class service giving us a memorable holiday.
David and Lorraine - April 2015What can I say!?..........What an amazing trip and adventure. A part of Belize has come back home with me. Just wanted to say thank you for organising a first class trip with memories my children, my husband and I will remember for a very long time. The service was impeccable. The people amazing and having Lamanai at the end of the holiday was the icing on the cake. Utterly beautiful. I want to go back tmrw please :)
Nathalie - Apr 2015We have just come back from the best holiday we have ever had visiting Guatemala and Belize thanks to the brilliant organisation of Nicola at Naturally Belize. We can not praise the company enough. Our holiday included 6 flights, 4 road and two boat transfers, stays in 4 different hotels/lodges and 2 guided tours and 4 day excursions. At no time were we worried that our itinerary would go wrong, we were confident that Naturally Belize had it covered! Naturally Belize had recommended the lodges and they were perfect for our needs. Pook's Hill being one of the most memorable and welcoming places we have ever stayed at. Snorkelling off the beach at Pelican Pouch was another highlight and the Mayan ruins at Tikal and Caracol were unbelievable. So many experiences in such a short time. Thank you Naturally Belize!
Penny, David, Rowan and James - March 2015Thank you Karen for your recommendations they were brilliant and each place so different, the places you have on your books are exceptional. Everywhere we went our transport and transfers went like a dream shame it can't be so outstanding here. Loved Lamanai and all the staff and guides. Black Rock so pretty and again wonderful staff and guides. Shame about the biting insects at Hidden Valley which could ruin your holiday despite every prevention and insect repellent under the sun, but makes up for it with the lovely rooms, nice staff and guides and the gastro dining. Loved Pelicans Pouch and our little house 'Herons Hideaway' was just a shame the weather was not at its best whilst we were there but still idyllic and again lovely welcoming staff. Mark snorkelled with nurse sharks which made his holiday. Victoria House was just the perfect end to our holiday able to relax and reflect on all we had done and to also have the opportunity to integrate a little more with local life. Flying into to Belize City from Ambergris we had Tapir's at the end of the runway what an ending, you don't get that at Manchester airport! All in all a wonderful experience put together by you so seamlessly by you.

Just a note to say thank you for a wonderful holiday - it started brilliant and then just got better and better. People great and organisation went like clockwork.
Barrie - Feb 2015
Just a big thank you to Karen, for being so patient and helpful. Talking to someone who knows the place was really useful and I can't think of anything that I would have done differently. It has just whetted my appetite to go back and visit other places in Belize.
Desna - Feb 2015Would definitely recommend Belize as a destination. It was a long journey, especially on the way back but a culture we hadn't experienced before and a beautiful destination.
Mark - December 2014Once again we had a wonderful time, and really enjoyed Belize. We loved Chaa Creek, plus the 4 days at Chabil Mar. The organisation from your end was superb, all ran well and truly the holiday couldn't have been any better. Many thanks again, we will recommend Naturally Belize to others without hesitation.
Caroline - December 2014Thank you for tailoring a wonderful holiday for us. We will treasure the memories for years to come!
Andy - July 2014Belize is very friendly, easy to navigate and get around. The Tropic Air service is very useful and makes life very easy. Lovely people and all very helpful. Unspoilt country (not sure for how long!) Definitely recommend it.
Nick - July 2014Enormously impressed with Naturally Belize. The itinerary ran like clockwork, and we had the trip of a lifetime. Have and will continue to recommend Naturally Belize for their sterling service and recommendations. Thank you!
Simon - April 2014We would like to thank you for organising such a wonderful holiday for us in Belize and Costa Rica. All our travel arrangements, which included nine flights and nearly as many transfers by land, went like clockwork. The various lodges we stayed in were all very comfortable, served excellent food and the staff were helpful and friendly. The guides who took us on hikes through the rainforests were excellent and knowledgeable. This was a very memorable trip.
Di and Bryan - November 2013Belize was wonderful as ever. As with last year we were amazed at how friendly and informative all the people were in the lodges and hotels. This really makes a fantastic family holiday.
Helen - July 2013Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us experience the most wonderful holiday in Belize. It is a beautiful country with so much to offer and the people are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We loved it. From the exquisite bird and animal life and the Mayan ruins at Lamanai, to the fantastic snorkelling at Mexico Rocks, to the wonderful horseback riding through the jungle and aromatherapy at the Spa at Chaa Creek, to the rest and relaxation finally at Placencia. So well worked out. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday.
Linda and Bill - August 2013We are extremely grateful to you for your recommendations we had an absolutely fantastic time.
Robert - June 2013Thank you for organising a great trip, we will be recommending Belize and indeed Naturally Belize in the future. Belize is a brilliant place to visit. I think more British travellers knew how much there is to see and do in Belize it would be more popular. We have visited over 70 countries and Belize is already in our top 5.
Ronald - May 2013Many thanks for what was a perfect holiday. Everything went as planned and your suggested itinerary was spot on for the mixture of experiences we were are after.
Mark - April 2013We would definitely recommend Belize as a holiday destination, in fact we have already been telling friends and family that they should visit! We felt that it offered everything that we wanted from a holiday - wildlife, beach, good food and sunshine. The staff and local people were very friendly and we felt safe walking around on our own. We would love to go back again sometime soon.
James - April 2013We had a wonderful time, just such a shame it went so quickly. Thank you for all the organisation, it all went really, really smoothly. We would recommend Belize to people who love snorkelling and diving.
